corachika asked:
My hair is natural, and just touches my shoulder when left alone. If I press it out, then it goes just past my shoulders, but it’s too thick to stay dead straight and it curls right back up again at the slightest sign of moisture (I’m getting married in may in the humid midwest, so a straight style would not be a good idea). I’ve seen some pretty styles on-line of women with dreads or extensions, but I don’t want to get dreads, and extensions (in my opinion) are casual, not formal. Does anyone have any ideas for what I could do with my thick hair (NOT an afro).
I should note that I no longer chemically straighten my hair, so that’s not an option

well you can do one thing just let it be …just modify it with some hair clips or something or go to a saloon where they can chemically straighten out your hair!!
all the best
cheers=)
